Hailing from Brighton, singer and songwriter DEWEY's incredible recent single 'Savannah' left us in a spin. Back with her self-described "big gay love letter", 'Is It Infatuation?' screams her new-found feelings from the rooftops. Capturing that magical yet anxiety inducing feeling when you fall for someone and as a result you question EVERYTHING, DEWEY's inquisitive vocals play out somewhat rhetorically over percussive beats and precise, almost funk-inspired guitar work. Subtle, atmospheric synthesizers drone through the verses adding a sense of the surreal before making a more prominent appearance in the chorus. Snappy and weird at the same time, the track, that was co-produced by DEWEY and legend Dan Carey, has his name written all over it. Arriving alongside a DIY drone video directed, shot and edited by DEWEY herself, the stunning visuals serve to enhance this truly magical track. -Holly Mullineaux
